Fully breathable fire hood for low/mains downlights allows heat from the lamp to be effectively dissipated preventing the terminal block and fitting from overheating. An intumescent material envelope expands to fill the hood and seal the downlight cut-out in the ceiling in the event of a fire in the room below.
